We've now created a new pricing tier for individual artists and groups of 1500 sek/year. This works out to around USD$138 / £109 / €130.
We've put a soft cap on the number of public artist profiles that you can create and give you double the number of administrators to avoid unnecessary password sharing when you need to give access to a bandmate, agent or manager.
Sign up is still a manual process for now, but we'll be speeding this process up as soon as we can and also plan to publish more template site designs that you can put into place straight away.
We're thrilled to have Fylkingen running on Venue. Fylkingen is a legendary artist's collective in Stockholm for new music and intermedia art that was founded in 1933. We're both members of Fylkingen and a lot of our early ideas about what Venue should and could be have been shaped by their needs. We've also done the front-end design for this one, too.
For this project we also ran an semi-automated import of old events for the last few years, using an LLM to id and parse out artists from their old text listings and create profiles with the info that was there. Even with the LLM assistance this is a pretty labour intensive process, but the plan is to have all 90 years of past events searchable — including the wild concert you see pictured above with Joe McPhee and Graham Lambkin at the First Edition Festival for Other Music in 2016.
